Firecrest - Frisch/Rosin?
Firecrest is a registered business corporation and as such we do business as dba/Lopez Quarries.
The Firecrest is the basic system components (or pre-cast firebox).
The Frisch-Rosin is that basic system tested with doors and an air system - designed to burn cleaner and more efficient. We sell it both ways because some customers do not like doors and some states (Washington) and jurisdictions require doors.
With or without doors the components can be installed into most masonry fireplaces as a Retro Fit.
It can be installed as the firebox in an all masonry fireplace and add a metal shroud (box) filled with insulation.
It is a lightweight unit that can be installed on a wood floor using a metal flue - referred to as the minimum clearance application.
The fourth method is a heat storing with multiple flues installation or a Masonry Heater. Doors are necessary with this mode to operate properly.
All four models use the same basic firebox components.
